Jar of Joy card ideas with a twist

How do you get a cottage into a jar? Well, that was not a post that I planned to make until I was playing with Jar of Joy stamps and noticed the Framed Scenes stamps out on my desk.

We will start with lets go through the first card. Here I stamped the two outside jars straight onto the Basic White layer. The two set stamped snowman went in the left and the baubles stamped in Real Red went in the right.

I coloured around the edges using a light Pool Party blend to make the images pop. The front jar was stamped on a separate piece of card. I stamped the cookies using the two step stamps in Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie ink. I then punched out the jar using the co-ordinating punch. The punch also came in handy to punch out the three lids that I stamped on Real Red cardstock.

Now for the cottage. First I stamped the cottage on Basic White Cardstock and then stamped the jar image over the top. The cottage stamp is of course much larger, so after colouring it in using blends, I fussy cut using the inner lines of the jar to guide me.

I then stamped a separate jar and used Tombow to glue the cut-out piece into place.

What have you got in your collection that you could put inside a jar?
