In-Color Offcut Cards

When I was making some In-Color Bookmarks for a launch party, I ended up with lots of little off-cut strips.

They looked too pretty to throw away, so I decided to use them for these fun cards.

All I did for the top and right side one, was to take a piece of Basic White card stock and glue down the strips. In each case I offset them to create a pattern. As you can see for one I did diagonal and the other just straight.

In all the cards, I used the Exciting Times stamp set and the Nested Essentials dies.

The butterfly one was even more simple just layering one of the strips onto a slightly wider strip and glowing onto the front of the card. Of course, I finished it with the All word by then Aflutter stamp set.

If you would like to make some in colour bookmarks you can find the free template here.

Or if you’re teaching a class, why not make some full sheets of coloured stripes? You can then cut these down into three-quarter inch strips to create similar cards.
