Framed Scenes & Wooded Acres Cards
Take a look at three ideas using the Wooded Acres stamps and Framed Scenes bundles from Stampin’ Up!
For this first card, I used the woodgrain frame die to cut and layer the scene. I cut it in Crumb Cake cardstock and added darker tones in Pecan Pie ink using a blending brush.
I coloured the scene using Stampin’ Blends and outlined the trees leaving a little white to make them pop. I stamped the pine image from Wooded Acres twice across the background and hid the join behind the frame.
For this second card I cut the frame again as above but this time stamped layered at a jaunty angle over the Wooded Acres woodland stamp for a simple effect.
For the final card, I used the oval frame to highlight the lighthouse stamp and fussy-cut a tree from another of the Framed Scenes stamps popping it up on dimansionals.
To bring the two images together I hand drew a line and added some foliage using Stampin’ Blends.
