Christmas Cards with Ribbon Ideas
Well we may only just be saying farewell to summer, but the Christmas season beckons to us as crafters. Today I am sharing a couple of projects featuring ribbon used in three different ways.
First card features the Scalloped Christmas Cheer stamps which I love. I used stamped off Old Olive in for the holly and Real Red for the berries and greeting.
To get the shadow look on the the ’tis the Season’ I used the Stampin’ Positioning Tool to stamp the greeting. I moved the card stock a bear 16th inch to the side and down and stamped again without re-inking. (This is one of the 10 techniques shared in my Stampin’ Positioner Tool Masterclass.
I wrapped the Striped Growgrain ribbon under the die cut layer for some extra interest.
For the wreath card I used the one of the Detailed Wreath Accents and coloured the berries with a Real Red marker. I popped it up on dimentionals.
